Fists vs Gun!
I decided to go with something fairly predictable with the challenge i.e a fight sequence, but it was still a ton of fun to do.
I absolutely love Arcane, especially the characters so I tried to capture Vi and Jinx's essence as much as I could within the fight itself.
There are some LoL easter eggs in the audio mix, try and see if you can hear them :)
Rigs were from agora, 2D FX was a mix of Shadrak Guichard-Foster's Maya Viewport VFX rigs as well as a bunch of FX packs from Envato.com!
I hope you all enjoy!

Hi Everyone! Here is a quick 12 second capture of Jinx in her lair. In this piece, I wanted to capture Jinx’s depictions from both League of Legends and Arcane. I executed this by displaying her mood swings and crazy voice lines from League of Legends, while polishing my animation close to the style of Arcane.
This piece was made on-and-off for roughly 2 and half weeks. Seeing some of the submissions, I am happy that I had chosen to do a character-driven piece as opposed to a fight sequence. The idea is very simple and straightforward, but the real challenge presented was my ability to execute it with a great amount of polish.
The animation was done in Autodesk Maya. Modeled assets on the table are from Quixel Megascans. The explosion effect is from RTFX Animation on Gumroad. Final editing was done in Adobe After Effects.
I hope you enjoy my Arcane Submission!
