A Conversation With Sir Wade

After his short film about a sick superhero brought him to the Cannes Film Festival in 2014, Sir Wade completed Animation Mentor's character animation program to immediately be hired at DreamWorks Animation as a Technical Trainer / Educator. His role at DWA as a Technical Trainer evolved to include becoming the Lead Videographer and the Education-Liason for Animation, Surfacing, and Modeling. Sir Wade left Dreamworks to take some time with his wife to travel, do YouTube, and work freelance. Since then he never stoped making videos about animation for aspiring and professional artists, building one of the most successful youtube channel of our industry.

We'll discussion with Sir Wade about his time at Dreamworks, the origin of his youtube career, the challenge of constantly creating content, his view on the future of education and the rise of youtubing and streaming in our industry.
