For my villain shot, I chose an OG villain from my childhood. Tom from Tom & Jerry. I wanted to create a quick scenario that I felt would fit in the original show.
I worked on this shot for four days. The first day was spent creating a proof of concept. I built a rough environment, began making camera placements, then created constraints for the bowling ball, and finally blocked out the scene with around 6 poses to get a feel for the timing. Day two was recording reference for the walk cycle, finding reference for the bowling throw, and animating those sections. Day 3 was animating the more cartoonish movements. Day four was for refinement, exaggeration, and final lighting touches.
I had so much fun making this shot. Thank you for the concept!

I used Maya 2024 to animate. Artem Dubina created the rigs, which can be found on Agora and Gumroad. The cheese model was created by "HQ3DMOD" and is available on Turbosquid. I modeled the rest of the environment.
