My name is GumeArtes, and I’m excited to share my entry for this month's AnimChallenge. The concept for this animation actually dates back quite a while. As a Spanish speaker, my friends and I used to joke about the name "Deadpool," wondering about the logic behind a "dead" pool. When I saw the challenge, this old idea resurfaced, and I thought it would be fun to incorporate the Olympic Games to bring it all together. And here’s what I came up with! For this animation, I used Autodesk Maya and Toon Boom Harmony for the simple 2D effects. I’d like to give a special shout-out to @davehanxd, whose work has been a huge inspiration and has really helped me improve my animation skills. I hope you enjoy it and that inspires you the same way I had been, and a big thank you to the Agora Community for the opportunity! <3
