Monica Marinho

Former HR Manager at Tech Companies and art hobbyst, in 2021 decided to take a different path and become a fulltime artist. That's when I started to work as a freelance 2D frame-by-frame animator! To develop my animation foundations I've attended the 2D animation essencials at CGMA Masters Academy, and the full 2D Traditional Animation program at AnimationClub School, mentored by Edward Kurchevsky. In the past 5 years had the chance to work either as 2D fbf animator, cleanup and color artist or both on several short films, a feature, videogame cutscenes and trailers, music videos, educational projects, indie project pilots, animation festivals spots (one of which I've also co-directed!) and animation within a famous live action TV show. Main softwares: TVPaint, Toon Boom Harmony and Photoshop (also working occasionaly with Clip Studio Paint and Krita)
